"Maulidurrasul" is a public holiday in Malaysia.  It marks the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). (peace be upon him)

For the Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad was a man created by Allah s.w.t to be the guide and example in their everyday life, until the Last day.



The prophet Muhammad was born an orphan, for his father Abdullah bin Abdul Mutallib passed away when he was still in the womb of his mother, Siti Aminah.

When he was a boy, The Prophet (p.b.u.h) worked as a shepherd, and as a young man, he worked as a trader for a business that belonged to Siti Khadijah binti Khuwailid, whom he married later.


I always believe that we should learn from whatever that have happened to the Prophet (p.b.u.h), for example we should always remember to give to the orphans, because the Prophet (p.b.u.h) was an orphan himself.  The same for being a businessperson.  There is a famous saying that 9 out of 10 ways to make money is through trading, which has been a source of strength for many to do trading, including me.

The reason for me to trade honey is, apart from finding pocket money, is to learn about the ups and downs of a business.  When I was small, I had started to follow my mother and father to sell things, but of course, the responsibility was different if the business did not belong to me.  In the future, I do dream of having business premise of my own, so now is the time for me to learn about the needs in a business.

Of course, one of the reason for me to be in business is to follow the footsteps or sunnah of the Prophet, so, starting this 2011, on every Maulidurrasul , insyaAllah (God Permits), there will be a special sale on.  Since I am doing an online business, and it is more difficult for people to notice my sale, the sale is on for 7 days, with Maulidurrasul will be in the middle of the 7 days.  That means, the transactions that complete within 12 February 2011 to 18 February 2011 are entitled to get this special offer.

Welcome to this blog on pure honey.

This is a sister site, to represent my other pure honey blog which is in Malay language.  Click here for my blog in Malay.

For any information in this site that is contradicting with this site and its sister's in Malay language, the information in the Malay site will take precedence.

One of my intentions to create this site in English is to communicate with my customers, existing and potential, better, since some may not have a very good conduct in Malay.
